good grief frank you make putting in hidden counters sound like the creator is schemingly plotting against the class, waiting one day to overturn us and throw us into eternal turmoil.
anyway, i'm glad the blog is active again, cos i do like blogging here. it's very light-hearted, and i can just say anything i want without putting in much thought.
y'know frank jeremy and i were discussing our plans for the future today during physics tutorial, and i realised how disorganised and un-prioritised my life is. i have no list of things to achieve, except to go to africa and help solve world poverty (HAHA). frank eventually wants to die a hppy man, jeremy wants to get married and settle down, i don't know what i want. except maybe to live on a deserted island that for some strange reason has satellite tv, electricity, water, and all the musical instruments in the world.
it's been like that since the age of 2. i never could keep interest in any toy, no matter how fascinating, for longer than 5 days. while chasing a butterfly, i could stop in my tracks, turn the other direction and run to the candy store to buy a toffee or a pound of starburst. and before i finish my sweets, i'd be running around in grandpa stewart's garden while he pruned the roses.
is that my life? i wonder.
anyway, thursday's our last teachers day celebration EVER. unless we, like frank, plan to become teachers. it puts things in perspective doesn't it. how near we are to stepping out of possibly the most comfortable phase of our life. soon, kids will be laughing at us like how we used to laugh at adults. soon, we will need to know how to calculate our credit card bills so we don't get ripped off. soon, we will need to support our parents and give them a comfortable life without living in slums ourselves. soon, the word INSTALLMAENTS will start meaning something to us. soon, the biggest worry of our life won't be not having completed our tutorial on time, but having to face a totally f-ed up boss every bloody day while she/he piles work on you like there's a gerbil in her ass. oh dear.
damn how did i get here. i was going to post a happy post. oh well. maybe tomorrow. right now, the fixed point iteration beckons. later people.
