as she stands facing the setting sun, the rays reflect off the river, throwing the shimmering lights across her face. she stares into the horizon, and her gaze soon shifts to the ever flowing river.



then she curses, digs around her bag for tissue, and in one swift motion, cleans up the trail of mucus leaking from her nose.

sinus, the silent killer. i can't even take a proper breath without every nerve of my nostril being irritated, resulting in a want-to-sneeze-but-cannot-sneeze situation. so i've pathetically resorted to taking short quick breaths, and i look like i'm having spasms and i'm annoying the hell out my mum who's now screaming "CAN YOU STOP DOING THAT?? I'M TRYING TO WRITE MY REPORT AND I SEE SOME HICCUPPING FREAK FROM THE CORNER OF MY EYE!!". oh and now she's going "stop blogging about me. i will sue you for intrusion of privacy." what wouldn't i give for a normal family.

i think i need to sleep, but i have no idea how i'm going to get to sleep while still having spasms. i'm going to look like a fish thats just been hooked out of the water. i think i should resort to the old trick of stuffing tissue up my nostrils.
